Read Time:1 Minute, 48 Second

Simidele Adeagbo, the author of our children’s book, Sleigh, Sleigh, Sleigh All Day, made history over the weekend! She became the first African athlete in 100 years to compete in bobsleigh at the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation’s World Championships. And she did it dressed as Damilola, the main character in her children’s book. So cool!

Sleigh, Sleigh, Sleigh All Day is an inspirational book about a little girl’s dreams of sleighing and her resilience whilst overcoming her fears. When she tries it for the first time, she thinks she knows exactly what it’ll take to succeed. With a snazzy new snowsuit and a lightning-fast sled, she comes to realise, however, that the secret to success is in trying again and again each time she fails.
