EKO Theatre Carnival: Crown Troupe at 26
A weeklong festival of Drama, Masquerade Parade, Dance, Art Exhibition and Seminar, will run at the Crown Art Factory on the Bariga waterfront an s well as the Bariga culture precinct. Its a this culture enclave erected on the dream and vision of Segun Adefila, the crown head of the Crown Troupe experiment, which has spawned a factory of talents and creative effort producing a variety of culture products in the vicinity of the University of Lagos in the north of Lagos.
The Festival is essentially a fusion of street culture and high art.

EMIR SANUSI: Truth in Time is a stage play that dramatizes the life of Khalifan Muhammadu Sanusi, the 14th Fulani Emir of Kano. The play is written and directed by Ahmed Yerima and will be premièred in two cities across the country (Lagos and Abuja) on the same day: August 6, 2022.
