Lugar Futuro: Open Call for New Choreographic Works by Young Artists (Portugal)

Lugar Futuro – First Works is a showcase of choreographic works by young choreographers who are starting a career in the professional world of dance, framed within the youth dance festival Lugar Futuro which takes place annually and will have its next edition from 18-20 November 2022, in the city of Viseu, Portugal.

Benefits:
Participation grant for choreographers /groups living outside Portugal is 500 EUR, plus support for international travel up to a limit of 500 EUR, and accommodation/meals in Viseu.

Youth4Disarmament launches Pitching Peace Youth Music Challenge
To mark the fourth anniversary of Securing Our Common Future, the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs is launching the Pitching Peace Youth Music Challenge, inviting young people to express their passion for peace through music. 

Benefits:
Winners will receive a token grant, ranging from $500 (first-place), $250 (second-place) and $100 (third-place), and will be invited to perform at a special congratulatory event during the seventy-seventh session of the United Nations General Assembly First Committee.

ASSITEJ: Project Producer & Coordinator

ASSITEJ International is recruiting a Project Producer & Co-ordinator. Reporting to the Secretary General & Projects Director, the Project Producer & Co-ordinator is a key member of the ASSITEJ International team, working with fellow staff members and the Executive Committee to support, coordinate, communicate, and deliver the work packages that relate to this role, in collaboration and coordination with the whole team.

Benefits:
The office is based in Copenhagen but flexible working (both time and geographic location) is possible and can be negotiated. The main working language will be English. The role is initially available on 60% FTE (full-time equivalent) basis on a fixed-term contract for 12 months with a probationary period of 3 months – and holds the possibility for extension of the contract period and work hours. Salary information is available upon request. The employment may be made through ASSITEJ Denmark. Start of employment is August/September 2022.

Nantes Institute for Advanced Study: ‘Arts, Societies and Contemporary Mutations’ Fellowship for Artists from the Global South (France)

The Nantes Institute for Advanced Study is establishing a new fellowship in Arts, Societies and Contemporary Mutations. In this context, the IEA in collaboration with local partners, Lieu Unique, the Nantes Saint-Nazaire School of Fine Arts, and Nantes Métropole, is offering an international artistic and research residency to artists from the global south. Benefits:

Oulu2026: Open Call for Projects (Finland)

The Oulu2026 organisation is offering an opportunity in autumn 2022 for partners to become part of the capital of culture programme. The autumn 2022 open call is specifically aimed at large-scale projects that take several years to prepare or carry out. The call for applications for individual, communal projects will be announced nearer 2026.

Benefits
As a rule, the funding awarded will cover up to approximately 50% of the total budget. The application must include a budget for the project. The self-financing may be obtained through, for example, sales or fees, grants and sponsorship. The remaining funding may also include salaries and voluntary work.
