Arthouse Contemporary announces the thirty-third edition of its Modern and Contemporary Art Auction, taking place online on Invaluable. Bidding opens on July 18, 2022 and closes July 25, 2022 6 PM (WAT).

Arthouse Contemporary will conduct its Modern and Contemporary Art Auction online with physical viewings of the artworks at Kia Showroom from the 22nd July- 25th July 2022. The online auction will take place on Invaluable, the online auction platform and marketplace. Please view artworks HERE

This auction will include 82 lots of artworks ranging from the modern period and cutting edge contemporary art. Featured masters include Aina Onabolu, Ben Enwonwu, Ben Osaghae, Bruce Onobrakpeya, David H. Dale, Kolade Oshinowo, Muriana Oyelami, Jimoh Buraimoh, Okpu Eze, Reuben Ugbine, and Tony Enebeli
 
Leading contemporary artists include Abiodun Olaku, Chike Obeagu, Olu Amoda, Duke Asidere, Gbenga Offo, George Edozie, Lekan Onabanjo, Obinna Makata, Olumide Oresegun, Peju Alatise, Uchay Joel Chima, Wallace Ejoh, Oluwole Omofemi, and Wande George. 

International artists from outside of Nigeria include Wiz Kudowor, Nana Nyan Acquah, Thokozani Madonsela, Paul Onditi, Kofi Asemnyinah, and Ablade Glover. 

This auction features four charity lots by Richardson Ovbiebo, Joseph Eze, Gerry Nnubia, and Kunle Adegborioye in support of the Adara Empowerment Foundation. The Adara Empowerment Foundation focuses on empowering women to actively contribute to the social-economic development of Africa by providing education and training support for women and youth; and supporting, promoting and documenting African arts and culture.
