The Beeta Arts Festival (BAF) was conceived to focus on fostering Pan African collaboration and changing the narratives about our beloved continent.
Our inaugural edition themed REIMAGINE was held in Abuja from the 12th-14th November 2021 and was truly embraced by the capital city.

We had content from Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, Mauritus, Ethiopia, and Nigeria, showcasing theatre, film, music, conversations, workshops, and visual arts. With over 2500 physical attendees over two days and virtual participation, BAF is here to stay.

It has been a hard year for me dealing with the grief of losing some of my loved ones with the most painful and most difficult being my precious Mummy. Sometimes, I felt like giving up on myself but I thank God I did not.

When the idea to have a pan African Festival focused on talent development came to me, my Mama was my biggest supporter. Although she did not live long enough to see it happen, I know she is smiling down on me from Heaven and giving me a thumbs up for seeing it through.

I am so grateful and thankful for the Beeta team who worked so hard for its success, my siblings for praying with me and encouraging me, and dear friends for being there for me against all odds. It truly took a village!
I look forward to having you all join us next year!

Much appreciation to our sponsors and partners.
