10PP will be screening five plays, produced on Zoom platform, at 5pm on July 20 2021 at the new Alliance Francaise (aka Mike Adenuga Centre) in Ikoyi.

The name of the company 10PP emerged from name of the project: Ten Page Productions 10PP, founded by the poet and culture activist Aduke Gomez, with cofounder Ladi Dawodu, an IT consultant in the daytime, who acts in two of the five plays.

The Journey Home, Tide, Certainly Sir, Just You and Me and Sugar Baby are products of diverse nationalities of writers, actors and directors

They are five of the 10 plays that 10PP set out to produce, in May 2020, right in the heart of COVID 19 era, when Ms. Gomez conceived the idea to develop ten new plays by new and emerging writers

The first play to be completed was The Journey Home, a 12-minute drama, set in wartime Britain, written by Anna Cunningham and directed by Bisi Adigun. It was screened in August 2020.

Four others were completed afterwards,

And the remaining five are being finalized.

Gomez and Dawodu met about two years ago at a writing/acting workshop. “We were the granny and the uncle of the class”, Gomez recalls. As every one else was 22. So we became friends as the adults in the class. And over the months we kept in touch.
