The Ibadan Playhouse will be performing Femi Osofisan’s Love’s Unlike Lading in Lagos this weekend
Nigeria’s top playwright’s adaptation of Shakespeare’s Merchant of Venice will be staged twice, at 3pm and 7pm at the Amphitheatre of the Lagos Country Club in Ikeja on Sunday, July 29.
It is directed by Tunji Azeez, a senior lecturer and head of the Department of Theatre at the Lagos State University.
Love’s Unlike Lading was performed as the 2018 convocation play of the University last May.
