This has been one thrill of a journey, taking me to many towns and cities.

I’ve travelled on trains (Lagos – Ibadan/ Abuja – Kaduna), in cars and buses.

I’ve slept at a motor park, guest houses and hotels.

I’ve travelled through the night and in day time.

I’ve had a bath at a public bathroom inside a market, at the break of dawn.

I’ve had multiple hiking adventures in four states, and done a number of interviews.

I’ve visited some attractions for the very first time, and re-visited others.

I’ve enjoyed Nigerian food across different geographical regions.

I’ve seen shege because of the cash crunch, and I’ve enjoyed the kindness of strangers.

I’ve been wowed by the unbelievable beauty of this country, every single day — in its scenery, its people and its heritage.

It’s a pleasure to be able to experience Nigeria as I have done over these years. I wish you could do so too, but I understand the fear that holds you back.

I hope the situation changes soon enough.

I’ve tried to carry you all along, but only been able to share just a fraction of all of those experiences here, and on Instagram and Twitter.

They are just appetisers, when I look at what’s still in store

The bulk of it will go on my YouTube channel (wakaabout TV): we’ve already published a number of videos and shorts there from my current adventure.

There are 700+ videos there, from past and recent trips.

Please subscribe to the channel, watch and share your thoughts.

There’s more to come, because the journey continues. Thanks for following me, and encouraging me all the way.
