CORA Hosts ‘Freedom Reads’, this Sunday, August 25, at the Park

The Committee for Relevant Art, CORA will be hosting the Eighth Book Trek in 2019, its First at Freedom Park.

On Sunday, August 25, 2019, the novelist Lucy Chiamaka Okwuma, will be reading Neglected

The monthly BookTrek at Freedom Park, to be held every last Sunday of the month, is christened Freedom Reads

The event runs from 4pm to 6.30pm and will be very interactive.

Neglected is a psychological thriller, the story of an otherwise blissful family life which comes adrift from its moorings

Okwuma’s story explores a delicate, yet crucial and unfamiliar subject matter –here is where the teaser ends.

Lucy Chiamaka Okwuma is an optometrist with a passion for writing. This is her debut novel.

There will be refreshments.
