Edaoto at The Park: “The Unique One” and his Afrogenius Band will open the weekend of July 27 to 29 with his monthly concert at the Freedom Park, Lagos City’s top cultural watering hole. Fresh from a European tour, the Nine piece band will be jammig from 7pm Friday, July 27, 2018..



Born A Crime, by Trevor Noah. The Sunshine Book Club monthly reading: a cast of 15-20  bookaholics engage the uproarious biography of the South African born, American prime time show Comedian. At Quintesence, Parkview, Saturday July 28 @11am. Book Club lead is Princess Irede Abumere





Fatima At The Space: Fatima Tuggar, the multimedia American – Nigerian artist, will be speaking about her work and showcasing some of it in an audio visual presentation at the Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel in Victoria Island at 3pm on Saturday the 28th of July.

The Nigerian premiere of this Dance Production will be performed to commemorate the 4th anniversary of QDance Centre on Saturday July 28, 2018@4pm at Glover Hall, near Tinubu Square on Lagos Island. The occasion will be used to present QDance Centre’s Programme for the seasons 2018-2020







Beats Per Minute:Pre-DJ Fest Slam Jam Pulse Nigeria and Empire Management present the 1st Beats Per Minute (BPM)  Festival in Nigeria.  The event starts 6 pm Saturday July 28, 2018 at Freedom Park. BPM DJ Fest is a five day mega party with highly rated DJs. This is the first of its kind in Nigeria and DJs from all over the world will be taking part. Although the main event kicks off in September, the organisers say they wanted to offer a “little taste of what’s to come by bringing you a pre-fest slam jam”. The event is supported by Freedom Park.




Dust To Dew: A Memoir by Betty Irabor. Quramo Publishing says to “celebrate the release of Betty Irabor’s seminal and much talked about new memoir, Dust to Dew, we are hosting a fun, yet engaging book party with the author and selected guests. Indiview LAGOS: Short Film Series. The July 2018 edition of the Indiview Lagos holds from 5pm on Sunday July 29, at the Freedom Park. The line-up includes Arima by Clare Ezeakacha, Corpers by Adenrele Olowu, Smoke by Mamuzo Nwokoro, Eve by Tony Piro, A Place of Happiness by Gift Imafidon, Life by Cardoso Ayodeji, Lagidigba by Yusuf Balogun, Kuli Kuli by Adeyinka Mohammed and Muna by Adeniyi Joseph.



Eko Theatre Carnival. The Crown Troupe of Africa presents a week long culture fiesta commemorating its 22nd anniversary: One week of theatre performances, workshops, poetry, concerts, film screening, and conversations around challenges of culture production.
